For Nancy Seltzer, hard work is not an over-used cliche; it is a way of life.
Nancy was raised in Upstate New York on a dairy farm where hard work, tireless work was the norm. She would rise at 4:00 a.m. each morning with her family to begin the daily chores, which included milking the cows, before heading off to school.
In 1981, Nancy moved to Florida, where she eventually raised a family of her own. One of Nancy’s first professional experiences in Florida was managing a real estate office. The owners and associates often encouraged her to become a real estate sales associate. Never one to see herself as a salesperson, Nancy declined. Instead, she obtained a position with the Broward County Public Schools. She began in the school districts entry-level and lowest-paid position, General Clerk. But, in a short time, her supervisors recognized her positive attitude, and they continually promoted her. Nancy eventually became the Curriculum Specialist of Adult Education, the first person to have held the position without having taught in the classroom. In that capacity, Nancy provided professional development to more than 200 teachers, wrote and managed all federal and state grants for her curriculum area for the school district, and oversaw a staff that supported 32 technical centers, adult schools, and community schools throughout Broward County. Moreover, she achieved this success while raising two children and obtaining two bachelors degrees; one in business management and the other in marketing. Little did she know at the time, how valuable her training in marketing and education would be in developing an effective marketing plan for each real estate listing and in assisting every client as they seek to understand the complexities of real estate transactions.
In 2009, Nancy met her current husband. When they decided to marry and began to look for their future home, their realtors kept telling Nancy that she would be an excellent realtor. Nancy was skeptical, as she still did not see herself as a salesperson. However, her soon-to-be-husband encouraged her to give the idea further thought. As Nancy did so, she began to realize that real estate is about much more than sales; it is about tireless work and a conscientious effort to ensure that a client finds the perfect home. Nancy was now convinced. And as real estate became Nancy’s passion, all those who had sensed her potential in the profession were proven right.
Clients are often taken by Nancy’s genuine warmth and bubbly personality. But Nancy attributes her success to the joy she receives teaching others about the real estate process and helping them fulfill their real estate goals. Nancy takes particular pride in her incomparable customer service, her unwavering professionalism, and her tireless quest to become the very best realtor with whom you have ever engaged.

Justin is a Florida native who has lived in Broward County, Palm Beach County, and Gainesville. He, therefore, has experienced the many benefits of Florida living.
At an early age, Justin was taught the virtues of hard work and the importance of treating others as you would have them treat you, lessons that have remained with him throughout life.
In high school, Justin excelled on the football field and was regarded as a team player who always gave a 100% effort. These traits enabled him to earn a college football scholarship. Although a back injury cut short his college football career, it did not deter him from achieving his ultimate goal. While working a full-time job and carrying a full course load, Justin completed his studies and graduated from the University of Florida. (Go Gators!)
Following graduation, Justin opted for back surgery to resolve his back pain; the procedure was a success. While awaiting the surgery, Justin visited his mother, a realtor, and had an opportunity to learn much more about the real estate profession. He soon recognized that real estate offered precisely what he was seeking in a profession: interaction with people; new and exciting daily challenges; and an opportunity to help clients realize their dreams.
Justin’s goal as a realtor is simple, provide exceptional service so that his clients can make well-informed decisions in a low-stress environment. He does this by maintaining clear lines of communication, providing frequent updates, paying attention to detail, educating his clients about the industry and the market, and, most importantly, making himself available to his clients at all times.
Justin believes that he is extremely fortunate. He not only works in a profession that he finds fulfilling, but he also has as a partner and mentor, his mother, a woman whom he describes as an amazing, hardworking and knowledgeable realtor, the consummate professional. Together the two formed Seltzer Bartholomew real estate and have developed an expertise in Fort Lauderdale-area waterfront properties, with a special focus on properties along the Galt Ocean Mile and in Bermuda Riviera.
